How Sherhood works
Sherhood lets many wallets fund one stock basket. Every deposit creates a card that becomes a claim on the basket after reveal.
The full journey
| Stage | What you see |
|---|---|
| Funding | An open basket with a goal, minimum deposit, and closing time |
| Card created | A sealed card in your wallet after your deposit confirms |
| Basket closed | Funding stops and the basket prepares its stock purchases |
| Stocks purchased | The basket holds 2 to 5 Robinhood Chain stock tokens |
| Card revealed | Your card shows its rarity and ownership percentage |
| Claim or trade | Receive the stock tokens or sell the card |
What a basket holds
The current testnet pools accept USDG only. ETH, WETH and mainnet $SHERD settlement are not enabled in this preview.
After funding closes, the basket buys several stock tokens from stocks Sherhood supports. You can see the final holdings on the basket page.
What your card represents
Each deposit creates one card.
Before reveal, the card records:
- The basket you joined.
- Your deposit amount.
- Its sealed state.
After reveal, the card also shows:
- Your ownership percentage.
- Its rarity.
- The basket’s stock tokens.
- The amount of each token available when you claim.
What happens when you claim
Claiming sends your share of every stock token held by the basket to your wallet.
The card is removed permanently after a successful claim. It cannot be sold or claimed again.
Claiming is optional. After reveal you may hold the Sherd indefinitely, trade it, or claim when you want the tokens in-wallet. While unclaimed, your position mark moves with stock prices. See Positions and claims.
What happens if funding does not complete
If a basket reaches its deadline without enough funding, it can be cancelled. You can then request the refund shown for your card.
Operators may also close an underfilled basket after the deadline and continue to purchase/reveal with the raised amount — check the basket status in the app.
What to check before every action
- Confirm you are on Robinhood Chain.
- Check the basket address shown in the app.
- Read the transaction details in your wallet.
- Review fees and slippage.
- Wait for the transaction to confirm before trying again.
